Bassist quits the band

The bassist, Nakayama Atsushi from “People In The Box” announced that he is leaving the band at the end of this month. His last performance in the band will be on May 29th. After countless months of consultations, Atsushi decided today that he will leave the band. There are no hard feelings between the band members and there were never any fights or disagreements within the band that led to his departure. Although this is a major turning point in the band’s history, they are keeping positive and have no intentions of stopping.

For all of those fans who are now worrying about the future of the band, you can stop now. The band will have a new bass player, Fukui Kenta, who will take over starting June 5th. So far, their blog has over 40 comments built up already expressing disappointment over the departure of Atsushi. We’ll have to wait and see what the future holds for the band.
