THE SOUND BEE HD at Nekocon

Visual Kei Industrial rockers THE SOUND BEE HD are set to make their American debut at Nekocon 2010. The band will be appearing in support of their new CD, Hachi, released through Starwave Records. Their appearance will consist of 2 full concerts, merchandise sales, autograph sessions, a Fan Q&A panel, and possible other surprises! Nekocon 2010 will take place on November 5th-7th at the Hampton Roads Convention Center in Hampton, Virginia.

About THE SOUND BEE HD: The former vocalist of media youth, DAISUKE, after working on solo projects for a time, formed THE SOUND BEE HD in 2000. They released their mini-album [Dol-Bee6] via avex, their full album [BEECYBONE] via Explosion Works, and later their single [Uchuusen] and their full album [MUTATION] via the independent label MOTHER SHIP. The band then experienced a member change, and Tak of Calmando Qual began to participate in all aspects of the band’s performing and recording activities. In 2010 they signed on with Starwave Records and released their third full album, [Hachi], accompanied by vast changes in their musical style and visual image achieved through the concept of a fusion of heavy rock and electro with a Japanese taste, under the theme of Japanese Goth. Their 10th anniversary one-man live, conducted as the final show on a tour commemorating the album’s release, was a great success. This fall they will work simultaneously on a new release and a domestic tour, as well as perform in the US for the first time tthe anime convention NekoCon.
