POPGROUP has joined HearJapan

For those of you who don’t know POPGROUP, you should do yourself a favor and go to their website and check out their amazing music. Although POPGROUP has the word “pop” in it, it would be silly to regard their music as anything resembling pop. POPGROUP is the definitive experimental label currently in Tokyo. Their star performer DJ Baku topped the top 10 DVD charts with “kaikou” in Japan despite doing it themselves and with little marketing. We will release DJ Baku’s works including his new album set out to be released later this year. They also feature the great electronic artist Oak, who were originally in Boom Boom Satellites. Other prominent artists include Goth Trad (the dirty dubstep that is currently taking over Europe), Rina Goodings, Black Ganion (experimental hardcore), RUMI, and more. To sample their music here

POPGROUP is known for their eclectic artists and experimental music. HearJapan is extremely proud to finally open the floodgates for the rest of the world to be able to listen and purchase this great music.

Also a similar experimental label called Elegant Disc has recently joined HearJapan and you will see their music starting to be uploaded to the site starting early next week. All of Elegant Disc’s releases on HearJapan will be exclusive to HearJapan.
