


There's something about the Japanese and Bossa Nova; they can't get enough of it. Perhaps it's the cultural connection with Brazil... or maybe it has to do with the extensive amount of elevators in Japan and the fact that Bossa Nova is totally fits the bill.
There are many theories regarding the birth of Bossa Nova. The most common attributing the emergence with João Gilberto's "Chega De Saudade" recorded on July 10, 1958.
It has been over 50 years since the inception of Bossa, and to commemorate the occasion, Gentouki (project of singer, songwriter Jun Tanaka) has gathered several brilliant artists from all genres.
