The First Countdown is a great concept album. The album features a lot of great 80's synth sounds and all of the songs are poppy but the last minute or so changes into heavy metal! This watered down metal is reminiscent of BEAT CRUSADERS, WEEZER or PINKLOOP. The songs are filled with great melodies and harmonic choruses.
