This was the first release for Gary Stout to work with the band for sound engineering and his mastery of the art clearly shows itself in this mini-album. Fans were kept waiting for over a year for this release but certainly weren't disappointed. "Hanauta" was the ending theme song for Asahi's TV program "Saishuu Keikoku! Takeshi no Hontou no Kowai Koate no Igaku" during the period of February to June 2006. The song "Akaneiro no Machi" was also used in the soundtrack for the short movie, "Marubiru".
