miimi's debut album, "ephyra" is a rather unique album in the traditional sense of what a "band's album" should sound like. Mainly, the lack of a bass and three guitars creates an transient sound that can not be found in other bands. While one guitar provides ambience, the other provides noise and screaching while the other blasts power chords or high pitched notes. Paired with the ephemeral voice of Hanai Yuuko, the band's female vocalist creates a magnificent harmony. The artist kinokosupa contributed to the cover artwork and the PV version of "Hikari to Kage". Here are two videos you can check out that are from this album: Nakamura from 9mm Parabellum Bullet had this to say about the album: "In between the accute rigidness of their music, there is a colorful melody that pulses throughout. I want the listener to feel their cold yet dynamic sound blends with the subtleness and madness in their outlook.
