"polyrhythm_system exclusive massage" is what PsysEx is an acronym for, hence the name of his first album. He substituted all the track names for the serial numbers of patches for random software. This album is part of the "patchware series" and is a compilation of many of his works. So Takahashi from "Car Park" and Takafumi Ishikawa from Snow Effect provided remixes for this album.
Sasaki Atsushi from HEADZ/FADER dubbed this album as "wabisabi electronica". Wabisabi is a theme in Japanese art that weeds out the beauty in simplicity. Although simplistic on the outside, the songs composition are fluid with detailed and minute nuances.
