While Naan might only be a two member band, don't be fooled, their power is clouded by incremental build ups. While the guitarist often contorts his face during shows, the precise drums pierce through the air like bullets. The guitarist often uses guitar loops in order to play other instruments during a show. Occasionally a heroic sounding trumpet will erupt with some relaxing jazz influences. Vocals are only used sparingly, usually coupled with a natural falsetto (high pitched singing). The flute, glockenspiel and keyboard are also taken out during live performances. They frequently bring in new instruments to their shows, and there seems to be no limitations as to what this duo will use.

Naan create a fusion of sounds brewing over with sadness, warmth, madness, etc. Naan's sound can not be considered as "traditional Japanese", however the Japan of four seasons (the embodiment of Japan)is expressed through their songs. In May of 2007 they toured with the Dutch band, "We vs Death". Naan has also toured extensively with eksperimentoj, miaou, kirihito, Texas Pandaa and more.
