It took no time at all for the indie establishment to recognize Yokohama’s 9mm Parabellum Bullet as a force to be reckoned with. Since their 1st mini album (Gjallarhorn) was release in 2005, they have been busy meeting the demand that only a band of their caliber (no pun intended) can create. Sold out shows and festival dates all across Japan, hordes of devoted fans, and charting album sales that reflect their devoted following.

It would be a challenge indeed to choose a genre to label 9mm Parabellum Bullet. The angst of punk, the attitude of rock, and the heaviness of metal layered delicately with a hook-laden melodic sense that speaks to J-Pop sensibility. Not afraid to lay off the distortion pedal and take the listen into new territory, songs vary from riff-based to melody-driven with texture the name of the game.

The band has taken part in countless concert tours, festivals and events. 　Rock in Japan Fes. 2007, Summer Sonic 07, Sweet Love Shower 2007 just to name a few. Their most recent album reached number 4 in the Oricon sales charts in Japan.
