
Techno Rock duo from Tokyo consisting of Maru on vocals and programming and Die on the TB-303 and turn tables. HONDALADY first formed in 1996, with Maru as the only member. In 2001 HONDALADY's debut album, "PRINCE," was released. In the autumn of 2002 HONDALADY retooled with the addition of Die to the lineup.
HONDALADY has quite the impressive resume, appearing on albums with Boredoms, ROVO and Strobo, competing in contest against artists like peach, HIFANA, and working with notable mixing engineers who have worked with exceptional Japanese groups like DRY&HEAVY, bonobos and Denki Groove.
