
Formed in 2003, JiLL-Decoy association (often referred to as JiLL-Deco by their fans) are a three piece jazz/funk band made up of free-flowing vocalist chihiRo, guitarist kubota, and drummer towada, all equally talented musicians in their own right. After amassing a large following, playing mainly around Tokyo's Shibuya area, in 2007 the group released their first full album, JiLL-Deco, which received critical acclaim across the country, even being awarded the OPUS OF THE YEAR award by Tower Records' bounce magazine. The trio followed up with mini-album "no name collection", as well as their second full release, JiLL-Deco II, which featured production from Yoshito Tanaka (Mondo Grosso, Mika Nakashima, bird), and went on to tour across Japan.
