Kaoru Miura and Naoki Hirai started OAK in 2002. Embodying a wide range of musical style, this duo is dishing out their own unique brand of music, incorporating drums, bass, laptop, as well as the addition of a mixer for live effects; generating with superb organization a very pleasant yet tense sound. OAK carefully tntertwining fat and heavy rhythms with atmospheric and abysmal melodies. OAK's musical objective is to allow the listener to feel the distinctly powerful sound the duo engenders with their entire body.
