Red Bacteria Vacuum are a female loud punk band from Osaka. They are made up of three ladies, IKUM! (Vocals/Guitar), KASSAN (Vocal/Bass), JASMINE (Vocal/Drum). The band formed in 1998 and released their first demo in "Such a Scream". In 2002, they decided to get more serious and relocated to Tokyo. In 2004 they had a song in a GREENDAY tribute, "GREEN DAYS 2" as well as their first mini album "KILLER DUST" which was followed by their second one in 2005, "ROLLER COASTER". That release was also released in the US and the band went on a west coast tour of the US. At this point the band ran into some member problems and the drummer at the time, AKEMING left the band. In 2007 they got KATSU to replace her but she dropped out in 2009 after another US tour and a 3 song release that was only distributed at live shows.

In April of 2009 they got JASMINE to be the new drummer and started up with their third tour to the US with Japan Nite. They will release their new album through their own label, "GUZGUZ records" in September followed by an OCTOBER tour with THE APPLICATORS (from Texas).
