Aina Ougi decided in elementary school that she would be a songwriter. At age 15 she started sending out demo tapes she had recorded in her room. That eventually led to a major debut mini-album in 2005 entitled, "Aina Ougi Hairimasu." Her music blends the Japanese folk music she grew up with and the PUNK music she loves to make for a unique style. She also has an intense and undulating voice.
