Avec son hip hop dominé par le turntabilim, DJ Baku est un producteur alternatif très prolifique. Sa série de mixes réalisée sur son propre label DIS-DEFENSE DISC, est devenue très populaire auprès des amateurs du genre, et même devenus de véritables collectors. En avril 2005, il réalise Kaikoo, un documentaire sur cinq années d’activisme musical détaillant ses nombreuses collaborations avec différents artistes japonais. Il produit lui-même la bande son de ce documentaire. Sorti en DVD, Kaikoo sera rapidement considéré comme la « Bible de la jeunesse japonaise ». En 2006, il réalise son premier, et très attendu, album, SPINHEDDZ sur le label POPGROUP. Une première réalisation qui devient numéro des charts indies des magasins Tower Records. La même année, il se produit sur scène avec D-Style, Kid Koala et Q-Bert. Dans la foulée, il collabore avec le légendaire groupe Guitar Wolf pour participer au single Ultra Cross Vol.3 sorti chez Sony Music.

En 2007, il produit une nouvelle série de remixes sous le pseudo Noizd Phank, notamment pour des artistes comme Bug (ex Techno Animal).

2008 est l’année de son second album, DHARMA DANCE. Tout en gardant son esprit hip hop électro, Baku introduit l’usage de la guitare, de la basse, mais aussi d’instruments à cordes Chinois comme le Er Hi. Côté BPM, il monte d’un cran, faisant cohabiter l’énergie Rock et Hip hop pour créer un nouveau son dance. L’album est d’ailleurs l’une des plus écoutés sur HearJapan. An ever prolific indie/alternative DJ and track-maker, DJ BAKU's foundation is Hip Hop with a healthy dose of turntablism. His highly-acclaimed mix series released on his own label, DIS-DEFENSE DISC, has become something of a collector's item. In April 2005, he released “Kaikoo” a documentary five years in the making, detailing many of his collaborations with a wide range of artists; all edited himself, including the soundtrack. After its release, the DVD became type of “youth Bible.” In June 2006, he released his long-awaited first album, SPINHEDDZ on POPGROUP Recordings, which reach No. 1 on the Tower Records Indie chart. Later in the same year, he performed with D-Style, Kid Koala and Q-Bert. In December that year, DJ BAKU joined forces with the legendary Guitar Wolf, releasing the single, “ULTRA CROSS Vol. 3”, on Sony Music. In 2007, BAKU embarked on a new project, assuming the alias, “Noizd Phank”, incorporating a variety of foreign artists like Bug (ex Techno Animal) to do remixes.

Lastly, 2008 saw the release of DJ BAKU's second album, DHARMA DANCE. Along with his forte, sampling, BAKU has introduced the usage of guitar, bass, drums, and Chinese stringed instruments like the er hu, as well as a diverse range other natural/acoustic instruments in his new album. Also, the BPM of his new tracks are drastically higher than ever before. His second album will integrate elements of both Hip Hop and Rock to create an explosive new dance music creation.
