Hoshi collaborated with musician Ken Hayashi (check this name) on the project Quietmode. He has a technique of incorporating Japanese-style ambience to his music. Hoshi was very active in the 90s ambient in Tokyo, Kyoto, Taipei, Shanghai and Northern Europe. Around this time he met PsysEx and started working together. He worked with the Norwegian group INF to create Love Creation Max, which won the grand prize at Denmark TP99. From designs to concepts, Hoshi is involved in the production of every Ryoondo artist.
