Kimeru is well known in the anime circles for his theme songs for "Yugioh", The Prince Of Tennis among others. He has also been a singer in the cast for musicals like The Prince Of Tennis, pippin, titanic, etc.
When Kimeru was in high school he was invited to go to a concert from a friend. After being deeply moved, he made sure he was at every musical event in his local area in Kumamoto Prefecture. To get a bigger slice of the pie, he went to Fukuoka to see all the bands that poured through the area. It didn't matter what genre or style the band had, he simply wanted to see live performances. He would see rock bands, visual kei bands, musicals, and even traditional Japanese folk bands. After getting his feet wet enough to his contention, an idea blossomed in his head. "One day, I shall get on that stage and perform."

However that idea simply rattled in the back of his mind and after graduating school he joined the post office. He still kept up his busy schedule of going to shows while working as a postman. In those days a dream came to him that he should become a singer. He challenged himself and never gave up. After being turned down by numerous auditions he thought maybe his dream was just a dream after all.
One day an acquaintance asked him to send a demo tape. Without thinking of this as an audition of any sort he made a leisurely demo tape in his home. He hadn't even given the tape a second thought until that person called him back and said, "you got in. You gotta come to Tokyo to do the recording!" He made his debut with the song "You got game?" and the rest is history.
