Miki Kuwabara takes a classical approach to the music of his solo project, Oriental Homeward. A native or Hiroshima now residing in Osaka, Kuwabara got his start producing organic electronica for a variety of compilation albums, with his first track released on a compilation for the US label Fuzzy Box in January 2002. Incorporating only a single mundane synthesizer to create his individual style, Oriental Homeward expresses a flow of delicate melodic and harmonic textures, creating an aesthetically pleasing and ethereal healing experience. which help relax and refresh the body and mind. Kuwabara has been involved in several projects like the Water/Green (released July 2003), Form@Records' warm seeds (released August 2003), the experimental sound dictionary tote CD project from Clubking, as well as releasing multiple tracks for compilation albums both domestically and internationally. His first full-length album Camlands on Ryoondo was released in 2004. Kuwabara is currently working on a second Oriental Homeward album.
