
Plot. is the solo project of drummer, electronic musician and Tokyo native, Norihide Saji. Arriving to the Electronica scene in 2002, Saji has been very active with involvement in several projects. In 2003 he contributed to a compilation album released by tar100mg records. His track Yume to Nikki was commissioned to be used in a Edwin jeans commercial. Currently he is a member of the dub-electronica unit miimo, alongside Yoshio Matsuda and Tatsu. Under Ryoondo Saho he released memorandum in 2005, contributed several tracks to various compilation albums and in 2007 released his second album, Ondo. In addition to this, Saji has worked as a live and session drummer for numerous artists such as, Hikaru Utada, YUI, Kazuya Yoshii, Junpei Shiina, Ikimonogakari, TIA, Ayano Tsuji, Shun Someya, Kunihiro Hayashi, Nao Matsuzaki, Natsuyo Ishinoda, Miyako Shinohara and Masaru Ezaki. In 2006 he collaborated with Masaru Ezaki on the maxi-single Love Game, lending his expertise in production, arrangement, live drums as well as programming. The sound of plot. can be described as ambient, atmospheric and minimal, with elegant melodies that sparkle and make the listener envision raindrops dancing about the leaves. Magical with a tinge of pop, plot. should delight the ears of listeners who enjoy Ryuichi Sakamoto and Haruomi Hosono, as well as Rei Harakami. Saji enjoys the beach, cooking and fashion.
