Drawing a strong influence from the world of anime, female singer Rekka Katakiri started out as a "doujin" vocalist and lyricist during her high-school days, and made her major debut with the ending theme for the anime series Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. As well as running her doujin circle CLOSED/UNDERGROUND, she has become a mainstay in the game and anime industries, creating the soundtracks for numerous works, as well as releasing her own albums.
