Ryohei is no newcomer to the Visual Kei scene. In fact, he was a major part of the Visual-Kei sensation Ayabie. After leaving the band due to artistic differences, he formed a new band under a new label which would later be called "Megamasso". Not only is Ryohei the founding member of the band but also is the groups leader.

The majority of the songs in Megamasso were written by Ryohei himself, and he is well known for his intense passion for song writing. He is so passionate about songwriting that he does it enough for it to be both his job AND his hobby! Hence, the break-neck speed at which new Megamasso releases new material. His song-writing is almost an addiction--ff the band isn't incredibly busy, Ryohei begins to get antsy! Reportedly he derives such an immense amount of satisfaction from creating songs for his fans' sake that he believes that making them wait is almost criminal. If only other Visual-Kei bands were so diligent!

Ryohei's main hobby is song writing, but what is not often discussed is that he is a big gamer! Other than being a big PSP and computer fan, he also considers himself a musical instrument 'otaku', and has an almost unhealthy obsession with guitars,pianos, effectors, amplifiers, and almost anything else musical!
