Saitone was one of the first creators of 8bit music in Japan. He was one of the earliest technology enthusiasts to embrace the gameboy as a musical instrument and is probably the most famous artist in Japan's 8bit scene. Recently he's been using a gameboy color during his live shows. His live shows consist of two handheld gameboys and a Roland mixer. When watching Saitone, it looks like he is just playing a game, but his fingers which are furiously pushing buttons are creating some of the best 8bit music out there.
